A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pet Subjects team, producing a leading pet/lifestyle magazine.

As Editorial Assistant you will play a key role in helping to produce our stable of quality pet magazines and their portfolio of websites. You will also work on maintaining and enhancing our growing and lively social media sites and forums.
Primarily working on our growing new title Dogs Monthly, you will also be asked to provide support to the teams producing Dogs Today Magazine and a host of client magazines.
As well as organisational and administration support for our teams, there is also plenty of opportunity to write for our portfolio and we are particularly interested in candidates who have excellent knowledge of pet and outdoor life topics.
You will have demonstrated a strong interest in journalism in your academic and/or professional career and will be organised, excellent with the written word and good at dealing with customer queries. We will also expect you to demonstrate excellent technical knowhow when it comes to social media and web publishing.
In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 4 weeks’ annual leave and a contributory pension (after qualifying period). A wide range of voluntary benefits include a cycle scheme and Childcare Vouchers.
